1. Chucks are disassembled and inspected.
2. Grinding and hard chrome plating are performed to piston, chuck body, and wedge.
3. Seals and o-rings are replaced using only the best quality parts to assure accuracy, long life, and durability.
4. Jaws are repaired as needed, unless broken. If the jaws are broken, we can replace them.
5. Your chuck is then inspected for a second time for accuracy on all surfaces for proper and accurate fit.
6. We then reassemble and test your chuck to assure maximum performance.

The most important part of spindle repair is often overlooked by other companies. Here at Advanced Repairs we provide hard chrome plating and precision grinding on areas such as taper and bearing areas of spindle tube for proper and precision fit of new bearings and tooling.
Our Process
1. We inspect and evaluate the spindle, including all areas such as the bearings, bearing surfaces, and taper for cracks and other wear and tear.
2. After evaluating and inspecting, we disassemble, grind, hard chrome, and finish grind using densed chrome, which is stronger than regular chrome for longer life and durability.
3. Bearings, seals, and o-rings are replaced using only the highest quality parts.
4. Then your spindle is reassembled and tested for precision performance.
Your spindle will perform as well or better than if it were straight from the manufacturer. |
